Peirce PTO

About
The Peirce Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a group of parent and teacher volunteers who work to support our school, build community, and enrich the students' learning experience by offering many activities, projects, and programs. We do this through hosting community events, fundraising efforts, monthly meetings (held in the school library), and by communicating through social media and our weekly Peirce Newsletter.

Volunteer

The Peirce School PTO counts on many volunteers to contribute to these efforts and invites all families to become involved. The PTO is made up of a Board and a number of committees. If you are interested in joining a committee, have an idea for a new activity or program, or just want to learn more about the PTO, please reach out to [email protected] for more information!

Please note: If you want to volunteer in the school, the Federal No Child Left Behind Act requires you to have a CORI check. Forms are available in the school office.

Peirce Family Directory
Each year, Peirce PTO publishes a directory of contact information for families of students at Peirce. Information on how to enter your contact information for the Peirce Family Directory for the school year will be available each fall.

Please note: due to privacy laws, the Arlington Public School District does not share contact information or student names with the school community.

School Supplies
Peirce PTO will order all school supplies in bulk, rather than asking individual families to purchase a list of supplies for their individual students. Please provide headphones or earbuds for your child to keep at school.

We will send out an email towards the end of the summer, asking families to contribute to the cost of their student’s supplies. You will also have the chance to help sponsor another child’s supplies by contributing a little extra.

If you have any questions or concerns about this process please email, [email protected]

PTO By-Laws
The PTO By-Laws and the Bylaws Amendment describe the goals, policies, and structure of the PTO.
